The Verna J. Kirkness Education Foundation (VJKF) is dedicated to empowering First Nations, Métis, and Inuit students to explore post-secondary education and careers in STEM. Guided by the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s Calls to Action, we create life-changing opportunities for Indigenous high school students through immersive, week-long research experiences at universities across Canada.
