📝 Application Tips

Before you begin your application, please review the following tips to ensure a smooth process:

1. Prepare your 400-word essay. Write your essay in advance and have it ready to copy or upload. Instructions for the essay can be found on the Program Information page.
2. Have your reference letter ready. Your reference letter should be written by someone who knows you well — such as a teacher, coach, or community leader — and can speak about your character and achievements.
3. Upload your signed consent form. You will need to upload a signed consent form as part of your application. Please make sure it is completed and ready to submit. Click here to download a copy of the form.
4. Submitting from a mobile device? If you’re completing the application on your phone and cannot upload your documents, please email them separately to📧 programs@vjkf.org once you have submitted your form.
